Reading the Michael Wolff book at the moment.

One of the things he keeps reiterating is that everyone who goes to work with DJT assumes he can't be *that* bad when they first start, but they all soon realise how little he knows about anything - politics, accounts, history, geography.

Even when he was making billion dollar deals with the hotels and casinos, he never really understood the detail behind any of them.
