He's one of our own and always will be - but he is old enough now that even though wingers always develop that bit later than you want them to, you have to question if that (cliché klaxon) final ball/decision-making thing will ever really happen for him. Cardiff obviously gambling it will and on a personal level I really, really hope it does. But I'm also glad we're not taking that gamble any more. £10m is a great price for him even in today's inflated market - can't see this as anything other than good business.
