PM: cyclists

All the cycleristas i see out and about and around are generally the most miserable looking bunch of folks around. not the general happy peddlers but the lycra ones hell bent on getting where they are going. is it fear of getting killed by nutjob motorists that makes you look in permanent state of anguish or are you in agony? Why do something that makes you so miserable or is it a case that cycling attracts people like that in a similar way that audis attract c***s?
