I am also a third party retailer with Amazon, along with an EBay store, website and good

Old fashioned shop. We have to have an online presence merely to compete. However the fees Amazon charge are horrendous. Oh well, it’s good to know that at least they’re paying back into the UK economy the same rate of taxes on their profits that real U.K. businesses are paying. And of course I’m sure Ebay and Paypal are as well.
I’m all for saving a quid here and there and I use both of them a lot, but they truly have an unfair advantage over the traditional trader due their tax avoidance, meaning they can offer products cheaper and quicker which is naturally and advantage to the consumer.
Stores have become “showcases” for online retail. You can try before you buy... try on the high street and buy online.
We’re all to blame, if that’s the right word, and things will change again, it wasn’t so long ago that everyone said the high street was just full of phone shops.
