Bailey's views are just the reality. Look how many

teams in the Championship have similar fan bases and top flight experience as us (Leeds, both Sheffield clubs, Derby, Forest etc etc). I'm sure all their supporters believe they should be fighting for promotion too. The problem is the Premier League. You get promoted and a huge pot of cash but fans expect 'bigger name' signings so that cash gets spent and unless you're one of the 'big' six there will always be a risk of relegation and that's where the economic reality kicks in. Then you either gamble like Newcastle and it pays off by returning immediately or like QPR and it fails. Expectations by many of our fans are completely unrealistic.
