It appears he was subsidising operating losses to the tune of £5m-6m per month

Up until a couple of months ago when the money stopped coming in from China, possibly because he's legally not allowed to transfer it now he's taken his money out of his company over there.

Quite how they have managed to be operating at a loss of £5m-£6m per month, whilst receiving parachute payments and still have such a bang average side is beyond me. Incompetence at all manner of levels.
