I always wonder how many unaffordable luxury apartments can you have.

Successive Governments have pandered to the greed of property developers but have treated local people with distain.

I personally know someone who works for a housing association. They had plans in place to build some social housing appartments. The plans where not even submitted because Govenment officials made it quite clear that the project would not be allowed to succeed.

Sad state of affairs really.
