Legends rolling back the years...

A short summary as I'm at a health and safety conference today!

A fine afternoon's entertainmemt and an opportunity to remember wistfully the days of yore and some of the quality players we've been lucky enough to enjoy in yellow and green.

The result was secondary but Inter lokked like a team that played together regularly and they had an extra yard of pace and some quality.

For City I thought Rob Newman was great at centre half and despite having a figure more like mine these days, showed he could really play.

The dream front line of Hucks, Holt, Iwan and Eadie gave a taste of what might have been if they'd all been in their pomp at the same time... sigh.

Father Phil still has some silky skills and showed he has some quality under his cassock.

Darren Kenton came on and was solid as he ever was, why did you leave Darren? You could have had a great career here!

Marshall was a great sport and pulled off a few quality stops. Good luck to him, he joined in with the comedy, holding his ear to the booing.

Holt coukd have had a hat trick! Some fine interplay between him and Hucks on the wing... oh what time it could have been!

Thoroughly great fun in the sunshine and worth £10 of anyone's money. Great crowd at 18,000 too... Ipswich please note.

OTBC, roll on next season!
