This did not necessarily make him a good Premier League manager. He did a bad job with us following that, the football was awful and what happened when he left? We had an excellent Championship season under Alex Neil and have started to establish a different kind of team under Farke. If he’s done well with Brighton since, then good luck to him. As well as being a nice bloke, he’s a manager who is capable of learning. If competing in the Premier League is the benchmark of success (and by ‘competing’, I mean sticking ten players in front of goal and still conceding) then maybe the armchair supporters need to support a different football team.
