So he will not retire then? Although two contradicting comments there:

"I'm looking forward to a first summer off in a long time with my family" indicates that he wouldn't be expecting to keep in shape for any new club over the summer.

"When I finish football, I'll come back here and cheer the team on week-in" then suggests that he is planning on playing somewhere else.

Or maybe he is aiming at MLS 2019 season, which doesn't start until March?
