I think it can just lead to permanent anxiety. Before last summer with the referendum

I became a bit addicted to social media I think and that was around the time that we were having terrorist attacks, threats of nuclear war, Trump got elected as well. Really felt like the world was going to end.

I went to France for 2 weeks where I had little or no internet and like you say was like a weight of my shoulders.
