"another magnificent Anfield night in Europe" will be mocked at some stage even if the game isn't at Anfield so there's always that to look forward to. It's a cheap tacky "win-win" really, a bit like Mo Farrah; when he wins he's British and when he comes third he's Scottish. ambivalent
