Indeed. Wes is rightly a club legend but this season has looked finished at this level

That's not a criticism of him, nobody lasts forever.
But there has been a lot of bollocks posted down below - our record in the 13 games he's started this year is W3 D4 L6 F 11 A 19, which is worse than our overall record (the last win in which he started was at Portman Road in October). And for all the talk of his amazing invention that we've missed he started both of the dire 0-0 draws with Burton. We might have missed the 'old' Wes but the sad but inevitable truth is that this year's version isn't really a loss at all when he doesn't play.
