My grandfather was soe

Died in the late 50’s so never met him, nor did my mum. Thanks to the internet we’ve met our french side of the family since thou. He’s mentioned a few times in books by M D Foot, the absolute authority on all things soe. Worked the Tours circuit, call sign Gaspard. Unfortunately most soe records were destroyed in a fire at the old baker st headquarters in 1946. Many believe it was deliberate to cover up many of their deeds. My French uncles were know as the “English bastards” through their school lives, as my grandfather was allegedly a bit ask questions later, in his approach!
