Doesn’t seem toxic to me.

Both sets of fans seem involved. Banner at one end says “you’re driving football into the wall” and the other end it says “Saturday, 3:30, football, Bratwurst and beer”. Freiburg to Mainz is a fair old way on a Monday night.

Their fans are a deal more militant than ours, on the whole. Nobody even booed the official attendance announcement just then.
