So if those figures are corroborated, it asks some strange questions:

Of the six states who had committed to destroying their stockpiles, four of them have been verified by the OPCW as having achieved 100% destruction. Those four include both Syria and Russia.

Only two countries remain - Japan, who have committed to complete destruction by 2022, and, oh shock horror, the United States of America who had a deadline to complete in 2012, but despite having achieved 90% destruction, for some reason have decided that they need until 2023 to destroy the remaining 10%...
