the potential added value for us of having an outstanding talent added on for what we hoped at the time would be our big promotion push, but with conditions about only playing him when he showed improvement in certain areas, then I am sure that Spurs will not forget that.
Let's face it - of all the Premier League sides they are the ones with one of the best youth development programmes, especially for English kids, and hopefully the young hungry types because they actually do have a chance of breaking into the first team unlike a lot of the other big Premier League sides who just loan their English kids out before selling them. They also play a very technical game, so with our style of playing, having a good relationship with them could well be beneficial for getting young loanees with good technique and able to hit the ground running in a system such as we play.
