would his attitude have been better if he was at least given a small opportunity to play for us. He's not even been playing for the U23's as far as I can tell. Is it any wonder that a young player with a known attitude might get bored and cause a few problems if he goes on loan to a club expecting to play and then basically doesn't get a look in. If he has behaved badly then I am not excusing it and clearly you shouldn't reward a bad attitude with regular first team starts but surely a little bit of carrot is necessary as well as the stick?
Personally I think it was a pointless loan in the first place. We've got quite a few youngsters of our own that we could be giving some first team experience to but aren't! We didn't really need to borrow another one from Spurs.
