Because people keep plucking numbers out of the air without even the slightest comprehension about what they are talking about.

In fact the only sensible opinion on Maddo’s true worth was from Hucks on that podcast a few weeks back. Even he had no idea what the true figure might be. I suspect that as and when he does go there will be a tidal wave of bed wetting because it’s been building up for so long that even a ridiculous figure like 25m would get some people in a tiz.

When we do sell him I think I’m going to ignore anything NCFC related online for the next month after.
