their surviving daughter used to serve us at our local Safeways

and our school bus used to go past one of their old houses (well two technically, but you couldn't see the other one)

Watching the police doing their business each morning was fairly grim (in retrospect that is, tbh at the time it was pretty fascinating for a kid)
