Imaging being so arrogant

That you can come up with a philosophy of how you want football to be played at your club and install a head coach, staff, scouts etc to solely deliver possession football -NO HOOFING ALLOWED- as if going direct is somehow dirty or cheating, but your club not be Man City or Barca or Bayern.

We cannot cherry pick the elite players to play this football. Liverpool try it and they have to spend £65m on a centre back to shore it up. Why would you weaken your options and potential capabilities by outlining your methodology from day one? Recruiting solely to deliver 5 midfielders and 1 striker in every game.

It's a terrible idea imho and I long for the days of Stringer or Walker or Lambert where they were happy to take whatever squad they had and work with it to maximise their attributes not all this cut cut cut oh you'll see in 12 months/20 games into next season.

I think Farkes made one sub all season which involved adding a second striker and it got us a late equaliser at home Vs Hull (?) I have no faith in the guy to have the ability to change a game, and that is vital skill for a manager to have. We're not going to piss the league next year with 1 up front for 90mins 46 games straight. It's total f**king deluded, arrogant, bulls**t.
Add to the fact he clearly cannot coach strikers or forwards.

We are royally f**ked up.
