To me the issue is that this could easily have been planned

Everything now seems ‘after the event’. We knew it was likely to be his last season; we knew that a testimonial should be in the planning, but now it’s all a little too late. But it’s ok because there’s some sort of discussions. And therefore if you’re a fan who would have liked to have seen this, then once again you’re being put down by the mighty judge for not interpreting a quote in the same way.

Everything has to be so black and white on here - you’re either in the superior set or a simpleton. It’s become tedious. Why can’t we just have emotional reactions to the club we care about?
