If that's representative of England, I'd be proud to be labelled as Gone Native. It's a

f**king embarrassment.

But I know this country and the behaviour of the police at such events. They will do everything they can to not provoke a situation, unlike Belgian police for example who are far more likely to take the strong arm approach as a precaution rather than a reaction. It's just os embarrassing that when you treat people like grown ups they reward you with behaving like this. And yes, once you push Dutch police to the point where they have no choice but to act, it's possible not your greatest idea.
