I genuinely cannot remember how we paid / got off without a fine.

I have a vague memory of making a small (single figures of eurosons) payment once back home over the phone, but whether that was the toll,or after being chased for not paying the toll I have no idea.

I also remember being absolutely aghast at the FUCKING STATE of Irish bureaucracy, and how amateur the whole thing was, and that's coming from someone who used to work in local government here, and let me tell you I have seen some s**t regarding useless c**ts in bureaucracy.
