But when you clicked on the link the marketing didnt make it clear the trophy was still called the barry butler memorial..... seems the focus is on to promote the sponsor (well, they paid their money and expect promotion so...) by naming the competition after the crane company but not really mention barry butler....

Think it was picked up quicker this year due to the past couple of years development in sponsors ie, stands changing names, extra sponsor on the shirt, kerfuffle of an online betting company as main shirt sponsor etc etc.....

So people seem a little less tolerant.....its ‘another change’ amd people dont like change as a rule...
