Funnily enough I wrote similar words in reply to tbf on Sunday.

I really don't understand the point in entrenching one's own views to a clear side, whether that be hope, negativity, cynicism, anti-club (regarding Norwich) or whatever. It's much more healthy to give a mix of praise, criticism, caution or even indifference when it's called for. Life isn't black and white, neither is football.

There's nothing wrong with having a view changed either, although I think a lot of that is down to some having to be seen as being "correct" all of the time and seeing being "wrong" as a weakness. Obviously the quote marks are there because those terms can be quite subjective anyway.
