Well, this is what's likely to happen when we don't play with that set up. Been obvious since the Bolton game when I said this would happen vs better teams, but luckily they had very little ambition. Against Forest we were VERY lucky as they wasted numerous chances to score from counters. Today we were punished and what's worse is that they could have easily had more.
Our full backs aren't good enough defensively, the centre backs are too slow to play in a 2 high up the pitch (and just you believe it that people would have moaned if we parked the bus vs Hull today...) and the midfield is too lightweight to compensate. 3 centre backs with Tettey and Trybull or Leitner in front has been the obvious go to set up for ages now. Losing Zimmermann to illness and Trybull to injury has been a huge blow.
The same people who moaned about the "negativity" of the previous set up and said the Bolton set up was the way forwards were given a HUGE dose of reality today. This Norwich squad isn't good enough to play like that against most teams. Hopefully those fans will accept or at least understand this now.
Regardless of forced changes, Farke has to take criticism today because that was dreadful regardless. Terrible performance.
