I quite like the scheme in a way. It seems an expensive way of raising funding though, and clearly there are risks to subscribers that the Club won't trumpet. Buyer beware and all that jazz.
But I'll be charitable and assume that they are doing it this way because they were wanting a way of involving the fans (community club) rather than being the result of a perverse objection to external bank debt or that we have some absurdly bad credit rating (we won't have. I'm sure someone off of on here has the keys to their organisation's credit checking tool)
