Last time I bought shares it was basically giving money to the club. No dividend 'B' shares and a nice piece of paper, etc. However, top end, £20k+, which was a lot more in those days, you got name on the directors board and, unless I remember incorrectly, a ticket for life.
This time, it is an investment choice. It's a good plan because investors will put money into something they believe in and so is a chance for fans to see a return on their faith.
There is a risk so it won't be for everyone. I'm not sure those packages are much incentive really; it's the returns that are attractive. It would be good to know if the club credit can be directly deducted from future season ticket costs.
