If its only for a year though you should be more flexible

For example i am sure the likes of Hanley and Klose are on wages that exceed our new "structure". clearly we can;t offer contracts for 2 or 3 years that exceed our new structure but a one year extension could be feasible as I am sure he would still be on less than several other players so unlikely to cause dressing room issues.

We will wait and see, the fact Tettey is making these comments publically suggests he may be lookig for an improved offer and thus up for staying. I hope we can improve our offer to him as i think he would be very useful to have about as Godfrey hopefully breaks though.
