Thompson will be on about £3k per week and was not injured when we bought him

Jarvis had history for injuries and was injured when we made his move permanent. It was a very stupid decision by the club which is why it provokes such frustration. At a time we are having to massively cut costs we have probably paid him around £4m to do absolutely nothing over the last two seasons. Getting rid of him could be the difference between keeping or losing the likes of Klose or Hanley.
