and I apologise for the misunderstanding. I just think the alternative view that Jim and others are putting forward should certainly not be dismissed out of hand at this moment in time. I don't think it's relentless negativity to be questioning the direction of the club - particularly after what is our third consecutive year of failure in terms of league position.
The opinion that we should have aimed more pragmatically at promotion this season may well turn out to be correct. But obviously its too early to say that until we know how the Webber/Farke experiment ends up.
I think the financial realities is the key point - but I dont see anyone wanting to recklessly go all out for promotion. We have spent a lot of money this season backing Webber and Farke - way more than some other clubs currently above us in the table - so we could have gone in a different direction also without compromising the future of the club.
