well, obviously that would be a bit odd

the point I made was that supporting a relatively unproven manager and CEO is a gamble. Not that you shouldn't support them 100% once you have decided to appoint them.

It is every bit as much of a gamble as appointing a more proven manager who would have signed a load of more established Championship players. Perhaps even more so, because, if Farke turns out to be dud in the medium term, I doubt there are many other candidates available who are going to work wonders with a bunch of players from the German lower leagues.
