We had millions and millions of pounds of assets, and sold some of them in the summer and in January. Then we used some of that money to stabilise the finances club, yet still had enough to spend €15m on transfer fees, then we're not skint. Not even close.

The issue is whether we should have spent that €15m on a long term plan, like we have done, with the aim of maximising our promotion chances after 3 or 4 more transfer windows. Or whether we should have spent it on a shorter term plan maximising our chances of promotion this season.
