If we hadn't had the Webber/Farke transformation, and still hadn't gone up (the most probable outcome) we'd be facing a much bleaker financial future than we currently are.

In many ways to have undertaken such a risky overhaul and come out of it in a safe mid-table position is quite an achievement.

I'm looking forward to next season and what it might offer. I suspect I wouldn't have been if we hadn't overhauled the squad, and that we'd have been entering a death spiral.

Only football tho innit.
