Several times the two forwards were sent through into dangerous or promising positions in space due to clever passing build up play, but completely mucked up the final ball. I think Hernandez pulled off one clever back heel to Maddison, but that was it. If they're still crap when playing on the break and in space under little pressure, then what can be done tactically to make those two have a good end product beyond intensive training?
But seriously watch the games closer and stop trying to force a false narrative.
