but that's largely down to the lack of a natural number 9. Oliviera is more like a second striker or false 9 who likes to drop deep. After him the drop off in quality is massive.
The forwards make good runs, as shown tonight, but badly lack quality with their end product. Maddison makes good runs from deep but looks to enter the hole and score from there, which makes sense seeing as that's one of his strengths. If he wasn't so good at shooting from those positions he would probably enter the box more. Plus the hole is statistically one of the positions players are most likely to score from.
I think the full backs aren't making anywhere near enough quality runs, but Lewis is a raw kid and Reed is a rookie playing out of position.
