its part of an ongoing fued between him and them and the media in general and linked to recent action he's got going on against them to try and stop them making continued references to his dungeon episode.

No doubt he will be destroyed over it though social media but based on the stories i've seen the perjury thing is a b it sensationalist and it hardly a shock that someone who until his early twenties was involved with his father's hard right wing political party may have had some involvement in produding a leaflet that contained hard right wing views/claims which at the time were banded about not just by that party but also openly expressed by many people. We've moved on from those times and live in a different age - i'me not sure what trying to haul him over the coals for a leaflet he was involved with 57 years ago really achieves apart from the press trying to discredit him.

This is really about his war with the press and them trying to exact a bit of revenge for him funding this new regulator.
