All this macho “only a bit of snow” rubbish is bollocks.
When your car is in a ditch and you’re cold and in shock on the roadside (as I saw on the A146 yesterday) because your job makes unreasonable demands or you think the world stops turning when you’re not there, see how you feel when some supercilious twerp tells you it’s only a bit of snow and they wouldn’t think twice about it in Canada or somewhere.
