party evaaaah. All my international colleagues in the same boat came over to my place, bringing traditional NYE treats, and each brought the bottle of champers we'd been given for NYE by the company. We started celebrating at Japanese New Year I think, then celebrated each one until we reached the UK before going out.
Our Y2K came off swimmingly which was a relief as I was the PM, but on the Monday when we went to the office, we couldn't get in. The security card entry system had Y2k-bombed and we needed to fork out about 100k getting it replaced pronto. That was rather funny.
