US style professional training?

there's a classic youtube of a US plod from the DEA lecturing kids in a school about gun safety boasting that he is "the only person in this room professionally trained to handle a handgun and then proceeds to pick up the aforementioned "unloaded" handgun and shoot himself in the leg. he hops about a bit and then decides it's about time to show the kids an assault rifle. there's an air of mild panic in the class.

the route out of this madness lies with the kids just walking-out on masse across the US and refusing to go back until sensible gun control laws are implemented. it'll never happen though.
