strange old match,

They took a two goal lead and looked the better side.
They attacked with pace and ran at our defence.
Reed could have put us in front with a better touch, only for Zimmermann to dive into a tackle and let them in on goal.
At two down I feared the worst.
But after Zimmermann made up for his error with a good header to bring us back into the match, we looked the better passing side.
BUT we never looked like scoring.
It is all well and good to keep possession but once on the edge of their box we need to inject some pace and we didn't have any until Murphy and Hernandez came on.
Otherwise, Madison had a quiet first half but a good second.
Vrancic looked off the pace and got caught in possession a couple of times but did get better.
Leitner looked our best player until Maddison started to play.
It will be so sad to lose them at the end of the season.
So please for Oliveira, even if Ruddy should have pushed the shot round the post. Let's hope it is the start of a good run for him.
We only saw a few minutes of Hernandez but he did put in the best cross of the match in that short time. Love to see more of him. Perhaps Bolton could be a good first start?
I am only coming for the last five minutes on Saturday.
