Ummm. Probably not, now

It was made in 1979! So it would look pretty crap now. It was also made on a shoestring (about $500,000 ... has grossed over $100m ...) and that shows too. The acting is weak and the only real star is the V8 Interceptor!

Mad Max 2 is better (had serious money behind it). Mad Max 3 is rubbish. Haven’t seen 4 (Beyond The Thunderdrome).
