Import cars

Can anyone recommend nearby garages that are used to working on imported Japanese motors? Have seen something I might buy but don't want it to turn into a flowerpot as soon as it breaks down.

It's a stupid purchase as it's old but I'm of an age where I'm allowed a stupid purchase or two.

It's a Nissan but I'm assuming authorised Nissan garages won't services imported vehicles by default?
