I'm in two minds about McCarthy -> Barnsley

On the one hand he's done an excellent job polishing the turd at the wrong end of the A140. I can't imagine many in the English game being given the same to work with and doing much better; most would do substantially worse. So long term it would assist the scum's ongoing decline to the National League South to have someone else in charge there.

On the other hand he's done a pathetic job managing the scum against us specifically. I can't be arsed to look but I can't imagine they've had many if any managers with a worse record against us.

Maybe a drawn-out lingering thing which covers our game with them but sees him move up north the day after or something?
