"Citizen Journalist"

He might wind us up, but that doesn't mean I want to see him stop what he's doing or lose his job-at least he provokes debate.

I don't feel patronised myself by him using the phrase "citizen journalist"-its his problem and issue, not mine if he feels that way.

I used to like Neil Custis when he wrote for the EDP/Pink Un, he was -and is- more your traditional hardened "hack", the old school, Rick strikes me as being a bit more remote and removed from all that, as if he is doing us all a favour, where-as Custis just went about his business without the baggage that RW seems to have.
