are with whites, as is most of the wealth so there is still a massive level of inequality as a hangover from Apartheid, BUT there is now also the reverse with employment being much more difficult to find for lesser educated white people vs similarly qualified black people.
The thing in South Africa is the horrendous levels of racism in general. No denying the white on black racism, but need to acknowledge the black on white, and the EVERYONE on what is known as "coloured" in South Africa. Apartheid obviously bred the whole concept of bigotry pretty damn successfully.
This is quite a shocking watch:

One fascinating theme is that a lot of those white people who are suffering don't blame the black people for the reversed inequality. Their general attitude seems to be "oh well, it used to be us and now it's their turn". And that seems to be the scary thing - that inequality is simply accepted to a certain degree.
