So we should have had a short term one season strategy for this season only?

Which manager were we going to employ for one season only? Think you are overrating the squad we had. We didn't make the playoffs last year with a supposedly stronger squad. And despite what some f**kwits on here will claim that wasn't simply because we had a clueless muppet as a manager (as he is demonstrating again this season). Most of the players you listed haven't actually contributed that much really this season.
