I'm not blahing but surely you accept that its a surprising move

for a club who are supposedly going to be relying on bringing through academy products in the next few years to offload one of the supposedly most promising ones for nothing just as he's getting to the age where he might be in contention for the first team.

Its disappointing as I had him down (rightly or wrongly) as being one who would potentially come through for us. I'm not attacking the club for it although would be good if they explained it a bit more.
