He's a winger/wide midfielder, usually on the left from what i've seen. I find

this move very difficult to reconcile with "the strategy." I expected him to be in and around our first team squad next season.

Why not loan him out for a bit so he gets games rather than let him go permanently?

I can only assume we have got a good sell on fee % and think he's likely to get snapped up in a couple of years if he plays well for rangers.
